Step 1

Tell Us What You Need

Everything starts with the web intake form at /start/. The form takes approximately 60 seconds to complete. There is no account creation, no email verification loop, and no multi-page wizard. One page, one submission.

The form collects six fields: your full legal name, email address, phone number (optional but recommended for filing updates), up to three LLC name preferences in priority order, your intended member structure (single-member, multi-member, or unsure), your primary use case (operating business, holding company, asset protection, real estate, or other), and your desired timeline.

After submission, you receive an automated confirmation email within 60 seconds. Within one business day, a filing specialist reviews your submission, checks LLC name availability with the Wyoming Secretary of State, and sends a Stripe payment link for $497. If your first-choice LLC name is unavailable, we notify you before sending the payment link so you can select an alternative.

What we collect at this stage:

  • Full legal name of the organizer/member
  • Email address for filing correspondence
  • Phone number (optional, used for filing updates only)
  • Up to three LLC name preferences in priority order
  • Member structure (single, multi, or unsure)
  • Use case and desired timeline

Step 2

Brief Scheduled Call (Optional)

Your confirmation email includes a Calendly link to schedule a 15-minute call with CSF's Director of Filing Operations. This call is entirely optional. Most clients who file standard single-member Wyoming LLCs skip it. Clients who benefit most from the call are those forming Series LLCs, multi-member structures, holding companies, or LLCs with specific asset protection goals.

During the call, the Director of Filing Operations confirms your intended LLC structure, addresses any questions about Wyoming statute requirements, reviews member/manager designation for your operating agreement, and discusses banking strategy if you have specific bank preferences. The call is not a sales conversation. There is nothing additional to purchase. The $497 covers everything regardless of whether you take the call.

If you do not schedule a call, CSF proceeds with formation based on the information submitted in your intake form. You can still reach the filing team by email or phone during US business hours at any point during the process. The call simply provides a structured opportunity to confirm details before filing begins.

Call duration:15 minutes  | Scheduling:Calendly, same link in confirmation email  | Required: No. Formation proceeds without it.

Step 3

We File and Form

Within 24-48 hours of your $497 Stripe checkout, CSF submits your Articles of Organization to the Wyoming Secretary of State. CSF acts as the organizer on the filing, which means your personal name does not appear on the publicly recorded Articles of Organization. The only names on the public filing are the LLC name, CSF as organizer, and CSF as registered agent. Members and managers are not listed on Wyoming Articles of Organization by statute.

The Wyoming Secretary of State typically processes filings within 1-3 business days. Once the filing is accepted, CSF receives the stamped Articles of Organization and forwards them to you by email. Your Wyoming LLC is now legally formed. Concurrently, CSF drafts your operating agreement tailored to your member structure (single-member disregarded entity or multi-member partnership by default) and Wyoming statutory requirements.

CSF then files IRS Form SS-4 to obtain your Employer Identification Number. EIN issuance takes 5-7 business days from the date of IRS submission. The EIN is required for bank account applications, tax filings, and hiring employees. Some competitors charge $70-$150 for EIN acquisition as an add-on. CSF includes it because an LLC without an EIN is not operationally complete.

What gets filed and delivered:

  • Articles of Organization filed with Wyoming SOS (CSF as organizer)
  • Stamped Articles of Organization (PDF delivered by email)
  • Operating agreement drafted to your member structure
  • EIN obtained via IRS Form SS-4 (5-7 business days)

Step 4

Banking and Ongoing Setup

On the same day your EIN arrives from the IRS, CSF submits bank account applications to Mercury, Relay, Bluevine, and 1-2 additional banks concurrently. This multi-bank application strategy is the core differentiator between CSF and most competitors, who either do not offer banking assistance or apply to a single bank only.

Applying to 4-5 banks simultaneously produces an approximately 90% combined approval rate. By contrast, applying to any single bank yields roughly a 60% approval rate due to varying risk appetites, BSA/AML screening criteria, and CIP verification requirements across institutions. If one bank declines, others frequently approve. CSF has found that the 8-10 day average from EIN to first bank account approval holds consistently across client profiles.

Each bank has its own onboarding timeline: Mercury typically responds within 3-5 business days, Relay within 2-4 days, and Bluevine within 5-7 days. CSF monitors all applications and notifies you as each approval arrives. Once at least one bank account is approved and funded, your Wyoming LLC is fully operational: state-filed, EIN issued, operating agreement in place, registered agent active, and bank account open. CSF's engagement is complete at this point, with registered agent service continuing on an annual renewal basis.

Banks included in the application batch:

  • Mercury — Popular with startups and e-commerce; 3-5 day response
  • Relay — No-fee business banking; 2-4 day response
  • Bluevine — Interest-bearing business checking; 5-7 day response
  • 1-2 additional banks — Selected based on your use case and profile
